The Southeastern Association of Neonatologists, a non-profit corporation, provides neonatologists from the Southeast a medium to exchange ideas, discuss problems and plan strategies for the future of neonatology.
The mission of the organization is to provide for the betterment of the educational and professional objectives of individuals in the practice of neonatology in the Southeastern United States.
With 250 members, the association's annual conferences are well attended and well received. These meetings provide an overall review of current knowledge in the neonatal care, in addition to present day dealing with managed care, cost, ethical issues, and the future of neonatal medicine.
The speakers are the country's top neonatologists, well published and superb teachers in perinatal medicine.
